Hello everyone, I'm Sanvi Shah, the President of the Aliso Viejo Youth Council, an organization I founded to amplify the voices of teens throughout our city. Additionally, I hold a Taekwondo Black Belt and serve as an instructor!

My goal is to spread awareness about the youth's voice and place importance on mental health issues. I am so happy to be able to work with the rest of these amazing people and look forward to a great year!

I wanted to join this council so I can help make Aliso Viejo a cleaner and safer community for everyone, and one fun fact about me is that I like to cook different cuisines from across the world!

My name is Carina and I joined the youth council to help encourage youth involvement and a positive voice for young people to our community. A fun fact about me is that I really want a baby highland cow!

Catherine Lacanienta
My name is Catie Lacanienta and I joined the Aliso Viejo Youth Council to make a difference in our community. A personal fun fact about me is that I do cross country as a sport.

Ira Adnaik
My fun fact is that I draw and play the piano and would love to teach the two sometime in the near future. I joined AV Youth Council because I want to have a positive impact on our community with the rest of the people on the council working together!

I want to bring light to the causes and solutions to mental health issues for the youth, especially as someone who has moved from state to state and has experienced different environments and types of people.

I decided to join the council in order to become more involved in my community. I enjoy reading, writing, and playing the violin.

Rama Ketabchi
I joined the AVYC because I believe it is important to educate young adults in our city on the current problems that are occurring where they live and what they can do to help. A fun fact about me is that I play two instruments!

I joined the Aliso Youth Council so I can impact, advocate, and bring focus to different causes in our community. One fun fact about me is that I am a volunteer for Providence Mission Hospital.
